I’ve been trying to post everywhere I blog all morning, and come to realize that my main blog is the one I neglect the most. When my sources of amusement include going to the thrift store and finding substitutes for everything I gave up for Lent, you know I have a boring life. So here’s a Sithy to tide you over for a bit.
I can’t tell you how much I β€ Poland!!
Have a great day π

One benefit of living in Northwest Indiana was the awesome pierogies at all the church festivals.

The Poles are a fine people. Like the Irish, they have been overrun many times and subjected to cruel tyrannies, but they refuse to be defeated.
The first troops to get to the top of Monte Cassino were the Poles, after the Americans, British, New Zealanders, Indians, Canadians, and French had all failed.

Laughed at all the “dumb Polack” jokes as a kid, re-told most of em myself. Then I got out of school, and actually started *studying* history. Poles kick ass. A lot. And my complete bastard of a former-boss being Polish himself not withstanding (*everybody* has those in their family), its a place I’d love to visit sometime.

I had a math professor who was of Polish descent, and she told a LOT of Polish jokes.
