And Bianca’s not toast*.
I’m not a superstitious gal. Ok, I’m just a little stitious*. I like black cats, walk under ladders, have broken enough mirrors to have supposed “bad luck” until the year 59,326 AD, spill salt all over the kitchen, and open umbrellas indoors in order to make sure they work before I step into rain.
Who wants to be caught in a downpour with a broken umbrella?
Apparently there is a convergence of Cosmic Karma™ this evening. Not only is it Friday the 13th, but there will be a full moon as well. That means we will be going outside with my awesome Celestron™ telescope to watch the moon.
M-O-O-N!! That spells “moon”*.
I hope y’all enjoy the evening, and if you see any werewolves, send them to Trader Vic’s* 😉
*Leave a comment if you get the references!

“M-O-O-N” is from Stephen King’s, ‘The Stand’. One of my favorite stories by him. Don’t know about the toast…

I thought M-O-O-N was from Stephen King’s “The Talisman”. Maybe it’s in both. It not as if I’ve read a lot of his books. Lemur King read than one to me on a long distance journey during my turns to drive.

M-o-o-n. Came fro Tom Cullen in The Stand dear. You are understandably confusing him with Wolf from King’s The Talisman.

I thought M-O-O-N was what one did out the window while driving around on a Saturday night.
June 13th, 2014 at 5:34 PM
Indeed, it is.

Driving around M-O-O-N’ing people…making it a double full moon for several. Heheheheh.

I almost caused a wreck of a moonermobile. They pulled alongside the unmarked I was driving, and as they deployed their act in the front and rear passenger side windows, I flipped on the alley lights mounted on the cage. The driver almost ditched the car, and I lit up the rest of my lights. Tickets for everyone! Two for public nudity, ( it used to be called indecent exposure ), and one for failure to maintain proper control of the vehicle At least, that is what they were written for, they were really for misdemeanor stupid.

“Misdemeanor stupid” is the best description ever 😀

I cannot think of M-O-O-N without thinking of The Stand. Nor of Cibola without having bumpty-bump run through my head. Loved that book.
