No matter how hard some people try to make this a day of service, or a sale at a store, this is no ordinary day.
On September 11th, we always remember.
And eleven years after that, another attack which left four Americans murdered in Benghazi, Libya.
“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” — Edmund Burke
Forgetting lets evil win. Never, ever forget, and make sure to never let those who would choose to dismiss it forget, either.

Never forget.

I will never forget my volunteer rescue squad being called out to assist, and being given permission from my new employer to leave work and join my crew. We spent the afternoon at the Weehawken Ferry Terminal awaiting mass casualties, that never materialized. There we sat for hours, 4 miles from Ground Zero, not knowing if each breath we took would be our last from any follow on attack. As we watched that pillar of ash, dust and smoke rise towards Brooklyn, we questioned the very nature of the people who would perform such a heinous act.
No, I will never forget… Or forgive.
