I lack motivation to write today.
There are no cupcakes in the house.
The laundry is done.
The schools have awards ceremonies tonight and tomorrow night.
I have a gazillion split ends.
My roses are still in shock.
Still, one can find humor in the day.
Here’s hoping Tuesday isn’t a Monday do-over!! π

For lack of any subtle-meaning snarky-comment, I give to you instead this picture of a kitten.
Meh. Not even that today. Make up something witty and read it to yourself. Blah.

One of those days… π
May 20th, 2013 at 7:02 PM
No cupcakes??? That’s unacceptable.
May 20th, 2013 at 10:15 PM
I know. I may have to bake some tomorrow. That, or go to the bakery.
I vote for the bakery.

I had one of those Mondays too. If Tuesday isn’t any better, I’m cancelling Wednesday in a preemptive strike against the work week.
May 20th, 2013 at 10:15 PM
I shall not cross that picket line π

If you haven’t seen the “Family Guy” Star Wars spoofs…do so. I plan on getting the box set someday. Apparently I haven’t been behaving, since Santa (the vindictive bastard) hasn’t brought them yet.
May 21st, 2013 at 3:58 PM
Santa has better taste π

i’ve dug up the back yard again… re-re-re transplanted a rose bush next to another one of its buddies – not going well i noticed today – it’s turning yellow, i don’t think it’s a Texas rose so i can only assume it’s on the way out – bummer
May 20th, 2013 at 10:16 PM
Crud… some of mine are yellow, too. I suggest my mom’s method: cut it all off and force it to live. Seems to work for her π

I went on strike twice today. Broke the strike twice and went back to work before anyone noticed. Oh yeah, I’m a ball of fire.

Speed of light, huh?

You are trying to make me spend money, aren’t you??
May 21st, 2013 at 5:07 PM
Always. Money buys happiness.
May 21st, 2013 at 6:05 PM
I can’t afford that much happiness. π¦ You have excellent taste, Mitchell.

Than kew! She’s a very skilled and talented gal, that’s for sure. Frankly I think her stuff is under-priced for the amount of time these pieces have to take. If I hadn’t been spending $ like water lately I’d snap up one of these critters in an instant.
If she would get with a good foundry & distribution / promotion network she could have these things in galleries all over the world.
May 22nd, 2013 at 8:43 AM
I can’t afford that happiness, either, but it sure is nice to admire it!!

Today the sun came out, I went outside after my early hospital shift, but got scared of the light, and have hidden to the dark side…. Also found the neighbour’s cat had popped in my garden box….. I’m not usually a grumbler, but I am considering pooping in his litter tray…… It’s only fair π x
May 22nd, 2013 at 5:00 PM
I would totally do that π
May 22nd, 2013 at 5:02 PM
I would be slightly worried about the look on the owner’s face π x
