What a day.
We cleaned house, and did some honey-do projects, and kids washed Hubby’s car, and dogs were entertained, and now… I’m not even inspired to work on anything.
I have countless bottles, jars, frames, glasses, canvases, just general junk waiting to be transformed into art. Or at least my version of art. Whatever, right? I just wish I could make stuff like this:
Now that is inspiring. Time to start collecting old spoons, forks, and sundry metal findings!
I can now justify a welding torch, right?
Have a great weekend!! π

What, you don’t have a welding implement yet?!? What kind of steampunk-nut are you, anyway!?
(I don’t have one either. I’m the poor kind of steampunk-nut.)

I don’t have one, per se. I have a soldering iron, and I have glue. Lots and lots of glue π

You could practice with JB Weld at first, see if you like the medium of metal-stuff that goes in it, and then get torch-happy. JB Weld is more than just glue. It is the duct-tape of the epoxy world.
But what would be the fun in that?

I tend to shy from fire because Hubby and Son are so attracted to it π
So I shall try that JB Weld stuff!

Collect plastic spoons and forks and geegaws and use a creme brulee caramelizing torch. π That way it is a dual purpose purchase.

I have a caramelizing torch!! WHOOOO!!!!

Every household needs a welding torch. Or is that flamethrower?

Flamethrower, Laura. The welding torch is an optional upgrade π

Future anthropologists will be convinced that many people worshipped Darth Vader as some sort of deity.

The thought has crossed my mind π
