I would say I am happy to see you, as I usually am after the weekend, but not today.
You made me very unhappy. Seriously?? A cold front to greet me?? What have I ever done to you, to deserve such treatment? I cheer for you every Sunday night as my kids drag themselves to bed. I wake up with a smile to greet you. I hail your presence as I eagerly drop them off to school. And yet, today you decided to just… forsake me!!
The 54*F (12* C for my foreign readers) doesn’t bother me. But that 28*F (-2* C) ?????
WHAT THE HADES???
I’m sorry, Monday. I’m breaking up with you. It’s one thing for a cold front to come in any other day, but heartbreaking when it comes on what was my favorite day of the week. You’ll have to shower me with sunshine next week to make up for it.
Or shower with water. We sure could use either ๐

I hear you. This morning, it was -25C/-15F when I walked The Boy to school. I’m not ashamed to admit that by the time I got home, I was wishing I’d worn a scarf.

You win ๐
December 10th, 2012 at 11:49 AM
Um, that’s -2.22222222222222…..ยฐC ๐
Heyyyy, how about that Johnny Manziel?
December 10th, 2012 at 12:26 PM
Corrected, thanks!
For me, it isn’t about an Aggie winning. It’s not about best player. It’s not about best known.
It’s about knowing that the first ever rookie freshman to win it is an Aggie, and knowing the smarmy teasippers will NEVER break that record ๐

We’ll be struggling to reach 75 today. Had an overnight low of 54.

Lucky &%*@#%&$%….
December 10th, 2012 at 1:17 PM
Awww Poor baby. I’d Kill for those temps up here right now. We got 6″ of snow overnight, try waking up to That. ๐
December 10th, 2012 at 1:18 PM
PASS!!!!
*huddles under more blankets*
December 10th, 2012 at 1:28 PM
28ยฐ?! Time to find a bushel of puppies & a couple of plump ladies & curl up on the couch under a wool blanket watching “Family Matters” reruns.
December 10th, 2012 at 1:30 PM
A couple? Sounds interesting ๐
December 10th, 2012 at 2:00 PM
Now that I think about it, really hairy fat dudes might work better. Hrm.
December 10th, 2012 at 2:01 PM
And…no longer interesting…

Woke up to 20ยฐF this morning. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
December 10th, 2012 at 3:10 PM
*sets blankets on fire to get warm* ๐
December 10th, 2012 at 4:09 PM
Waaaaaah… I think our high today was a damp and chilly 38 F. I’d happily take 28 F at night if I could get 54 F during the day. :-\
December 10th, 2012 at 5:18 PM
Ok, y’all have a point.
But don’t come crying to me when y’all get 85* F in the spring ๐
December 10th, 2012 at 4:36 PM
I keep telling people Iโm a special bread of weird. I like the cold, I love to snuggle up in my warm blanket and lay on a window seat and watch snow fall with a cut of hot cocoa. I will miss making memories with our k-bug out in the snow like I have with my family Texas just doesn’t see the snow that I’m used to seeing as a kiddo.
December 10th, 2012 at 5:19 PM
Well, that’s because you are used to the snow. I’m from Puerto Rico. Imagine my shock when I first saw snow.
I was 32 years old ๐
December 11th, 2012 at 4:26 PM
Hahaha ah it all makes sense now.
December 10th, 2012 at 7:05 PM
Cold front? Wanna trade winters? I’d happily take a Texas cold front. ๐
December 10th, 2012 at 9:35 PM
Well, the Texas winter (all two weeks of it) is usually followed by the Texas summer (all eleven and a half months of it).
Heh ๐
December 10th, 2012 at 10:12 PM
Cold weather rocks! Like I always say, you can always add extra layers to keep warm. But to cool off during the summer, you can only take off so much before the cops take you away. Oddly enough, as time goes by, that seems to be happening a lot sooner in the peeling-off process than it did when I was younger. Who are these “GreenPeace” people, anyway, and if they’re gonna toss water on me, can’t it at least be cold water? This lukewarm crap doesn’t help at all!
December 11th, 2012 at 7:58 AM
It took me a while to get this… ๐
December 10th, 2012 at 10:50 PM
it was 13 F here this morning and predicted to be lower in the morning. We had a light dusting of snow but no significant moisture. Hope you get that rain and maybe we will too!
December 11th, 2012 at 7:59 AM
THIRTEEN???
I shall stop complaining. Eventually, anyway ๐
