Thirteen years ago today, Texas A&M University suffered the greatest tragedy in its history.
Some may boast of prowess bold
Of the school they think so grand
But there’s a spirit can ne’er be told
It’s the Spirit of Aggieland. We are the Aggies – the Aggies are we
True to each other as Aggies can be
We’ve got to FIGHT boys
We’ve got to fight!
We’ve got to fight for Maroon and White
After they’ve boosted all the rest
They will come and join the best
For we are the Aggies – the Aggies are we
We’re from Texas A.M.C.
From the outside looking in, you can’t understand it. And from the inside looking out, you can’t explain it. We are family.
And as a comrade, I answer, “Here”.

A very sad day. The Aggies took the hardest hit, but you were not alone.

Never been to college (New York Institute of Photography is not a university…I have a certificate if completion, not a degree, as has been pointed out by various managers at review time…usually managers who had no problems getting me to photograph events for free), but that pretty much sums up “esprit de corps” in the military.
