I was on a knee next to the photographer when the photo of the 173d Parachute Infantryman in bashur, iraq was taken. The VA in New York has decided to use that photo for their “You can’t hack it” PTSD propaganda.
That is the underlying message to anyone reading it who has seen The Elephant.
I have taken the issue to them, expressing my extreme displeasure at the implication the photo creates with the copy.
They just blinked at me.

The fact the Republic still stands, provides all required evidence that American Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmen can, indeed, hack it.
