Lightsabers are awesome. But I don’t think they’re the coolest. The coolest, in my book, would be (and I think it’s a shame no Jedi or Sith did this) a Lightaxe.
I share with The Real Dave a preference for projectile weapons, and mounted on fast aircraft. Something like the photon torpedo, but all aspect and at relativistic muzzle velocities. Point and shoot, no need for a lead-computing sight.

Oooooo…pretty lights! Bookstores rock, too.
BTW, in case I don’t get over here tomorrow, here’s an early “Happy Star Wars Day!” (May the Fourth be with you!)

Bookstores! I wanna go too!
Lightsabers are cool, but a portable Minigun is what really gets my blood pumping.

Lightsaber: It’s on my Christmas list every year, and every year I don’t get one. 😦

This reminds me that I dreamed of lightsabers recently. I just held it up to a guy’s head and turned it on. Shortest light saber duel ever.
In other news, I need new silverware: http://www.raven-armoury.co.uk/lassenset.htm

Dunno the original, I got it from that joke about the USMC FA-18 over Iraq, talking to Irani radar. Google the quote for a giggle.

May feelings say this device would end misbehavior in schools. Forever. Fact.
