Tomorrow is Mardi Gras, also known as Fat Tuesday. People gorge and drink and carouse and celebrate because the following day is Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent.
And though I shall remain at home, laughing at the weirdos on TV, I shall celebrate as only an Aggie of my stature can.
I hope y’all take it easy tomorrow during the festivities. Or at least score some pretty beads while you celebrate.

Tomorrow, I will be clearing out a storage locker situated right beside Hwy 290. I’m going to offer to pull my top up in consideration for a few minutes help loading the truck.

That is a cool glass. I love Nawlins, but during Mardi Gras, it can be down right dangerous. Anyway, I’ve always had a GOOD time in NO. The Juju Woman used to sing with Tuba Fats and his pickup band at Jackson Square every evening when we were in town. He would introduce her to the crowd as his “secret weapon”. I’m telling you straight up…she can sing. Trained in Opera, but she can handle some blues and dixie.
