Yesterday I was telling y’all about getting back into cross-stitching. Today, I have to put it on hold. A friend of mine is having a rough time of things, and we decided to get together to scrapbook this week. We got nothing done yesterday, since we decided to be more of a support group. But today, we took inspiration from Jennifer McGuire:

Now back when I was in art school (YES! I like to say that because I get to use it so little to brag!) that was called a shadowbox (or display case) not a collage because collages overlap. I am just reciting what my teachers told us. They were a bunch of frustrated alcoholic artists so who knows. Anyway, the thing is, it is very pretty and that’s all that matters.
