Yesterday was a Red Letter Day here at Casa de Aggie. Both Eldest and Son were promoted in rank in AFJROTC. Getting promoted is a big deal in itself, but on top of that, Eldest made the rank of Cadet Captain as a junior, and Son was promoted two ranks for his service, from Cadet to Airman First Class.
They worked hard and are very involved in ROTC, and I’m proud to say they are fine examples of the program at our school. What they learn will help them achieve success in their future, no matter what path they take.
If only they would work half as hard on their rooms. That would be awesome!!

Congrats to the promoted!
Do they get to do fun stuff, since you are so close to bases where you live? I’ll bet that’s a pretty good draw for candidates of the program.

Oh yeah! They do a lot of stuff with the Air Force base nearby, and enjoy competing against the AF high school cadets.
This spring they will enter a tough mudder type of competition. I told them the clothing will be thrown away on site 😀

Congrats Aggie!
Maybe youngest will be the one to keep a clean room. Happened that way with my family because I learned from my siblings mistakes. Much easier to get dad to say yes to going out when my room was clean.
Too funny about the clothes getting thrown out.

Tell them congrats – and quite a wonderful present for you.
I have heard it said that the most precious gift you could ever give your parents is to live well.
