That’s so funny! About 1 month ago I taught Buttercup how to fold notes like that! She wrote a few to her friends and they all thought they were great! We sure knew what we were doing WAY back when!

I remember “texting” that way, of course when I was a kid, we chiseled notes on a flat rock 😀

I never got notes like that as a kid. Instead someone would hand me a note and tell me to pass it to someone else. Guess who always got caught with the note and sent to the principals office….. ME!

That was from back in the day when you actually had to get up to change the channel on the TV. Dark days, indeed.

Jeez in the South Texas 19n0s (sic), TV was on for only 2 hours a day, right after lunch. Bet I could still draw a test pattern.

So far done today:
1– plumber fixed water heater.
2– shopped for family gifts.
3– delivered food baskets to the food bank.
4– wrapped some gifts.
5– laundry.
6– started dinner.

You’ve had quite the day! I remember folding notes and sliding them into lockers between class. With liberal use of emoticons…not called that yet! Good memories…
