A Study in Contrasts

I was so lucky! I had the chance to speak to Hubby while he was on a tour of Egypt. Skype is not very dependable in *ahem* certain Middle Eastern countries. But he was very excited to have toured Karnak and Luxor and cruised the Nile River. This is where he is today:

And this is what I’ll be doing:

Sometimes, life can be so funny….

Does anyone know if napalm is good for mold??? 😉

Just use a 65-35 diesel/gas mix and pour it into a 5-gallon metal bucket half-filled with dish soap. That’ll teach that pesky mold.

    Well it could be worse….

    Somehow 😉

So jealous! Egypt has always fascinated me, and it must be so cool to look at that stuff. So sorry for the circumstances that he has to be there, and you can’t be with him.

And bleach is your best friend with mold. Spray it on, and let it soak. Bleach = mold napalm. (I get to do that job, soon, too)

Also, I’ll bet that Skype works pretty good in Israel, doesn’t it? Funny how they can make things work in the one place in the Middle East that doesn’t have any oil.

Karnak and Luxor are awesome! Glad we got to go a few years ago.

Wish I could see all that myself. Know it is killing you. 😦 It is so beautiful!

My strategy is to keep the fridge so full that I can’t see the mold. Except in the veggie drawer. And occasionally the leftovers I’m pulling out to serve for dinner. Meh.

Guess I can’t actually feed the boys mold??? 😛

Did you get THE bead? Must. Have. Bead. More. Bead. Good.
*Channeling William Shatner there. Glad that’s over! 🙂

You’ve got the wrong mask, LC. Try this one…

Well, despite the circumstances, at least he’s getting to see some awesome things to make up for the lack of you. 🙂

I’ve found mustard gas to be pretty effective on mold. Hard to get, though. Damned treehuggers ruin everything. 😦

Mold, what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger! *snort*

Bleach works well, have had success with ammonia, in limited quantities/situations.

For some reason had not picked up on your Anthropology degree (at least I thought you had mentioned it before). So are you going to become the blogosphere’s “Kathy Reichs”?
