This is Only a Test

Well, it’s only a little quiz, really. And completely harmless and fun.You can’t fail, no one is here to grade you, and I was told there would be no math.

It’s the World’s Smallest Political Quiz.

Here are my results for 2011:

The last time I took this little quiz, it was 2007, and I was right above the letter “R” in “Right”. Quite a difference, n’est pas??

The times, they are a’changin’ ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’m right over the “N” in Libertarian. Feels about right….

  • Tiberius

Scored one square directly above you, Aggie.

Damn you two are wannabe totalitarians compared to me ๐Ÿ˜‰

I was wondering if the test skewed Libertarian, so I went back and re-took it, with intent to land in a particular quadrant. I get a *sense* that there is a skew, but am at a loss to properly articulate it.

On the positive side, this is the first time I’ve been tarred with the epithet “wannabe totalitarian”. So I can merrily scratch that off the list of names I’ve been called. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think the test is definitely skewed. It has to be, since it relies on simplicity of complex questions.

But this is just for fun ๐Ÿ™‚

  • GMLand

I believe it is skewed as well, I landed just about the 45 degree angle line between Con and Libertarian. Simplicity of complex questions indeed.

Love your test. I am a flaming Libertarian! At least I’m not a Liberal anymore. Can I still come over?? ๐Ÿ˜›

Almost at the very tippy-top! More purer Libertarian than all of thou! Y’all are just LINO squishes really. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The problem with the Libertarian party is that theyโ€™re mostly a bunch of political dilettantes who donโ€™t really want to do the things necessary to obtain and then hold significant political offices to really drive policy. To do so would require some compromise of their idealistic purity on some issues (or at least some sort of prioritization {seriously, at least back-burner the wholesale drug-legalization thing for more pressing issues like entitlement reform or something}) but they want EVERYTHING on EVERY issue RIGHT NOW. We didnโ€™t get to the state weโ€™re in now because the Left got everything it wanted every time on every issue. They did it with patient, persistent incrementalism. Theyโ€™ll only get shoved back with the same techniques. Almost by definition Libertarianism doesn’t attract the people with that mindset. Thus they will always be at The Kid’s Table of political discussion occasionally lobbing circus peanuts at Mom & Dad.

I scored near the top, one line down and on the wall to the right. Basically one step straight up from yours. I’ve gone farther left and farther up from where I was last time I took that.

I’ll take it in a minute, but first…check out NSKMD for chocolatety goodness.

  • Aewl

I ended dead solid on the “t” in Libertarian.

Skewed quiz though. In previous versions I was way to the right.

  • SOYLENT GREEN

Aewl made some ransom demands about the corset pic. I have addressed them. ๐Ÿ™‚

Same square, opposite corner to the right. Skewed, yeah, but so what. Daughter’s MUN instructor sent the class to a different skewed poll. No matter what you entered, unless your answers were very extreme, you were aligned with the Independent Party.

My red dot was just to the left of yours, pure centrist libertarian.

Not surprised, though I also would have been somewhat closer to conservative (probably near the conservative/libertarian line) in 2007.
